WebFeb 17, 2024 · In a two monitor environment [extended display] with Desktop Viewer disabled to display full screen, connecting to VDI using Citrix Receiver 4.9 CU5, the primary monitor display freezes on the logon screen. The Secondary Monitor displays the desktop screen normally. Pressing Shift + F2 repaints the screen properly. WebDisplay 1 (laptop screen) is on the left and Display 2 (standalone monitor) is on the right. It appears that citrix is straddling both displays, but displaying only on one. The right display shows the active application (Word) but because citrix isn't extending the full width of the display, the application gets cut off.
