I had a spring bar removal tool with a solid pin on one end and a scalloped forked end on the other. I placed a small bit of rodico on the bottom side of the clip and turned the C <- gap facing up. WebStep 1. Remove the plastic cover on the push nut -- if it uses one -- by gently prying it off with a flathead screwdriver. Once the push nut is exposed, use the screwdriver to pry it away from the surface it seats against.
