Web14 okt. 2010 · The wheel hop is from the torsional twist of the axle to the leaf springs... how are these stopping the axle from twisting? Well, the axle is twisting the leaf springs. When the axle is put under load, it will try to lift the pinion up. Stiffening the springs on the front half will prevent this.
