I think Sonic 06 will always be just that though, after playing all of the P-06 demos so far, even with the sheer amount of revamping done: decent. The issue with Generations is that it ran with using only 2 cores, and a good majority of people had more than 2 cores. As a result, Generation required more clock speed rather than cores. More cores means lower clock speed.

I'd recommend borrowing, renting, or buying a cheap copy of 06 and just downloading the demo for Unleashed, which contains one of the only good levels in the game. tryptophan symbol
